The Ceremony was attended by families of fallen officers, colleagues as well as many distinguished guests from different walks of life.  The Service was addressed by The Chief of Defence Staff General Sir Nick Houghton and the Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe.

Following the service attendees placed wreaths and flowers at the base of the Memorial Stone.  Mr Martin our Deputy Chairman laid a wreath on behalf of The Metropolitan and City Police Orphans Fund.  Our Chief Executive Peter Smyth and Deputy Chief Executive Malcolm Cooper were both in attendance as well as Members of our Board of Management.
