Mr Basu took over the role of Chairman of the Orphans Board of Management in January 2014 following the retirement of our previous Chairman Commander Robert Broadhurst.
It has been announced he will be promoted to Deputy Assistant Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Service as from 30th March 2015.
We would like to wish him well in his new role and are pleased to announce that he has agreed to remain in post.
