Metropolitan & City Police Orphans Fund
Formerly the metropolitan & City Police Orphanage
Sarah chose to nominate the Metropolitan and City Police Orphans Fund as her charity having gained a place in this years Virgin Money London Marathon 2019. Her Grandfather had been a Police Officer who sadly died at just 39 years of age from complications during surgery. He left a wife and 4 children the youngest just 8 weeks old.
The Orphans Fund supported the family during this difficult time something which Sarah and the rest of the family have always been grateful for. It was this which spurred Sarah on to complete the run and raise over £1000 for our Families.
We would like to say a big thank you on behalf of all our families for your achievement something your Grandfather would rightly have been proud of.
